Role/Responsibilities

This role will provide compensation and analytical support to MCO business entities as well as acquisition support for due diligence and integration across MCO.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of Company’s global compensation programs so that the company’s compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations

  • Provide analysis and guidance to business partners and recruiters on compensation matters, including job evaluations and providing recommendations for various compensation actions

  • Partner closely with regional partners as needed to understand local markets and country specific compensation issues

  • Work with Global Total Rewards team to gather anecdotal competitive data where survey data is limited and assist with interpreting and presenting the data

  • Complete job evaluations assessing against markets utilizing local market data

  • Facilitate compensation offer process, making recommendations and providing analysis of compensation history and future earnings, as needed

  • Provide support globally for salary planning and annual bonus processes

  • Conduct complex analyses for a broad range of compensation projects such as job architecture and integration activities as a result of acquisitions

  • Interact with other People, Finance, Legal and Tax teams as necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of HR/Compensation experience, with background in job evaluation, market data benchmarking and offer recommendations

  • 3+ years of progressive growth and responsibility in the Compensation field

  • Strong knowledge of compensation market practices

  • Exposure to International Compensation including an appreciation for the complexity of managing a global population

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills

  • Good organization skills with the ability to juggle projects and meet deadlines

  • Experience developing presentations and other communication materials

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a global environment

  • Must be a self-starter and be comfortable with sensitive and confidential issues

  • Expert with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SuccessFactors a plus

  • Familiarity with external global salary surveys (i.e., McLagan, PWC, Radford) preferred

  • Merger and acquisition experience preferred
