Private Debt Financing & Liquidity Management Requirements
- 7-10 years’ experience in asset management/fund industry including the private debt market.
- Familiarity with the investment management industry (experience with credit strategies, private and registered funds, separate accounts and various types of investors preferred).
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Proficient in a high pace environment with large volume and high-risk transactions with a low tolerance for error.
Private Debt Financing & Liquidity Management Team Overview
This team is part of the Global Alternatives Operations Team under the Global Accounting and Product Services within Technology & Business Operations.Role Responsibility
- Develop an operating model for the support of all credit facilities across the global Alternatives platform. This includes subscription, leverage and asset-backed facilities for various business lines.
- Demonstrate product and functional knowledge of the private debt/credit markets in order to communicate with the business and facility providers.
- Manage and monitor the covenant tracking of each facility and work with internal stakeholders on the delivery of required reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Capital Markets Team to assist with the negotiation of the lender agreements including all covenants and onboarding requirements.
- Gain understanding of all applicable portfolios and deal related documentation to ensure controls and adherence to guidelines.
- Proficiency of vendor systems including, but not limited to Advent Geneva and Wall Street Office.
- Preferably 7-10 years’ experience in asset management/fund industry including the private debt market.
- Familiarity with the investment management industry (experience with credit strategies, private and registered funds, separate accounts and various types of investors preferred).
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Proficient in a high pace environment with large volume and high-risk transactions with a low tolerance for error.
- Works independently or in a team environment and actively seek additional responsibilities.
- Highly proficient in Excel; knowledge of WSO and Advent Geneva a plus
- Outstanding academic achievement, broad based work experience, and demonstrated leadership experience.
- Financial degree required.
- Above all, the candidate must possess initiative and a willingness to contribute beyond the scope of one’s role to achieve team and firm objectives
